It was the idea of my Wife's cousin.She gone through my posts and blogs recently.She also has been to Nani Ma Ki Mnadir in Baluchistan.

Celebrated birthday in a grand style,went for a movie and a great dinner and I had some works in Ahmedabad yesterday and returned back to Baroda last evening.

Though having frequent interactions with Hindus, there was something that made our family members show resistance to consume food from Hindu neighbors that they sent to us on Diwalis. My Dadi who was very much in to Sufism made that clear. It was a simple trick to recite bismillah over the food and consume it. That did the trick most of the time.

Afterwards, we siblings got Hindu friends at school and shared chat in same plates. I even had Parsad for many times.

In our part, muslims are so abundant, like wheat in this area that you hardly miss them :D

Karachi yani pura Sindh mein sharab lene ke liye Hindu ka zaroorat nahin hain. Waqain mein milti hain asani se.

Wine is available even Pindi / Islamadad and there Hindus are not involved in supply.

To the extent of rural Sindh (to be specific my hometown), Hindus do have a major role in supply of wine.

Wine permits non-Muslims ko mile huwe hain to unn ki involvement lazmi hai.
