But we can never ever get any survey done on this topic. Similarly, we can also not conclude on the comments made by desi guys that they will not leave their fiancee after such incidents. Their true behaviour and attitude can only be known if God forbids such incidence happens. And the behaviour and reaction of guys depend on socio-economic classes of the society as pointed out by NomiCA. If anyone knows about one guy who hadn’t leave his fiancee, he was truly a gem but that doesn’t mean all the desi men would do the same. Similarly, if someone heard a guy left his fiancee, he also doesn’t represent the majority.
Talking and doing are two different things. Majority of single desi men still would like to go for never married girls (although there is no survey done and there are exceptions to this, we still know this attitude in desi men exists).
So this is very difficult question. Because of greater awareness and education levels, our society has started to act maturely towards such incidents and things will further get better with time hopefully.
