Moderator is suppose to “moderate” discussions NOT views, not cut down on his views or lose ability to express his views. “Non-Muslims will goto Hell” is not his personal opinion, it comes from Islamic rulings/verses/ahadith, it is NOT to “ridicule” or “mock” anyother religion, if you can’t take it then too bad but he can’t be forced to hide his views when asked/needed.

Of course it is personal opinion because as you just noted, there are enough Quranic references that say Allah is the final judge.
Secondly, if he feels compelled to share his view that non-Muslims will burn in hell, he shouldn’t be a moderator of a religious forum that has posters of many different faiths.
And thirdly, he initially offered his opinion in a thread openend by a non-Muslim to express respect for Islam and it wasn’t even a topic being discussed, just a reprimand to another non-Muslim to avoid hellfire by becoming a Muslim.
