Re: To ladies..husband supporting his family

Pretty much this :k:

As long as the husband isn’t overlooking his family’s (i.e. wife and children) expenses in favour of his parents’/siblings’ lavish expenses, he has full right to look after his parents/siblings.

Re: To ladies..husband supporting his family

This is a problem which has always dogged women: if they aren't earning the money, then they have no say. Well, the fact is that marriage is a joint venture, and whether one person is the cash earner and the other is the Director of Domestic Operations, both contribute. A wife doing her work all day (housework, cooking, childrearing, nursing) is the same as the husband doing his work all day: they are both putting in their fair share of the energy required to run a marriage. His money is as much hers as if the paycheck had her name on it.

Hopefully they are on the same page with regard to how money should be spent, just as they should be on the same page about how to raise the kids and take care of the oldies.

Re: To ladies..husband supporting his family

Never tell her how much you are making :) Ask for her the budget and negotiate it really hard - then here you go with rest of your money - spend or save where ever you like .... :D
