A little OT but whats so wrong about a girl telling a guy she likes him? I mean you girls talk about equal rights and all, so why not crank it up and be up par with your feelings too. I dont see anything wrong with it, and please dont give me that 'but girls dont do that' excuse. ,

how do you plan to go about it? I think you should start of casually, as if your catching up after ages, asking about how his holidays are going, and sharing yours etc. as you would do an friend. see if there is any interest in his response, and take it from there...
I dont think you need to clarify anything until the 3rd/4th convo. rather than the first few message.

You know what...I just thought it over again...maybe it wasn't even about who declares it first..
The thing is he comes from a very rich family and this is kind of what kept me away from him...I have really high self esteem and I thought if im even a tad bit nice to him he's gonna think im such a complete flirt and im trying to hook up with him because of his wealth...
All my cousins are really rich and equally materialistic, so I kind of generalized and thought he would have the same mentality...
I know this very naive...but I also know this is what made me behave the way I did...
