Do you not realize that joking to me about blowing up my apartment or something is akin to racism? Atleast to me ?
Should i joke to you about you blowing up an abortion clinic, or the court house ? Or murdering some doctors or lynching some black people ? Raping their women, bombing innocents ? I bet that wouldnt be funny anymore would it.
Realize that the actions of the few donot dictate the mindset of the their kind. Realize that your jokes get old very friggin fast, and even if said with the best of intentions they make me, and my kind, very uncomfortable very fast.
Realize that just because we laugh it off and joke along with it doesnt mean we find it funny too.
Realize that you, claiming to be champions of human rights and free of biases, are anything but that when you label me a terrorist, or even joke to me about it.
I am anything BUT a terrorist, and now, im sick and tired of you making these jokes.

His method of venting is a good one though. Muslims are to often unfairly labeled and if he has been targeted then you can't blame him for his frustration or anger.

As a "white person" maybe I can help a little bit here. There are reasons for every cultural stereotype ie.l, Irish storytellers/drinkers, Italian eaters, Pakistanicab drivers, Indian 7-11 owners, etc etc. Americans fear the unknown...and pakistanis like to be unknowns, keeping to themselves in their little neighborhoods. That is not a good thing. After 9/11, americans became very suspicious of anyone from muslim nations and why not. What has the muslim populace here done to assure the general population that they are a peace loving people?? I'll tell you - not much, There ARE advances being made but they arent enough. Muslims like to keep to themselves but this is not a good thing when residing in a country that is NOT muslim. You need to get out more and let people know the beauty and peace of Islaam. That you accept other cultures, other people, other beleifs.
Please dont think that this is a rant against Muslims. I do see and understand where and how this all has developed. But there needs to be more open-ness so that the "typical american" can see and understand that Islaam is a truly beautiful religion, NOT one that dictates or condones the type of thing that happened on 9/11. The vast majority of americans know only about the terrorists and that Islaam is detrimental to women. SHOW THEM that they're wrong!

Mama: I dont confine myself to my own community. Some of my better friends are non muslim, white folks, black folks, my best friends were chinese. I donot discriminate and pick and choose my friends on the basis of ethnicity.
I am almost always very courteous and nice to people however i think maybe that comes across as fake to them.

Visit Pakistan, many whites living there do the same. I won’t generalize and say that all of them do that, just like not all Pakistanis fail to assimilate, those who do tend to be older and to have lived most of their life in their own country. New to the country, facing covert institutional discrimination, thick accents, white kids in the neighbourhoods telling them to “go home where you belong you Paki fag” force them to isolate themselves in their own little communities.
