Very sad! How some people got it closed by saying that its only sect who does it!
Re: TLK imposed his authority on Eid Milad thread
Now that is one awesome religious topic..![]()
Abay I did not not close it, LKK did ![]()
Re: TLK imposed his authority on Eid Milad thread
Meray bhai! It was just a thread like and Eid Mubarak thread! But you jumped in with your hathora that it is a like a great sin! If you differ you would have discussed it in another thread.
Its like those terror activities where people imposing themselves by bombs and guns!
Re: TLK imposed his authority on Eid Milad thread
WTH are you talking about. I was not the only one there who had that POV, plus cant I talk like a member, even if I have a different POV? How many times have you seen me doing dictatorship in threads and locked them because people were not in agreement with my point of view.
I dont interfere in the day to day decisions of mods, and when it comes to locking threads, outside Feedback forum (even there I hardly do that), I probably did not lock more than 10 threads in my last 2 years of directorship.

It was not TLK, it was LKK.
Also, that thread did not have to be closed. Pakwoman was simply wishing everyone Eid Milaad. There's no need for Quran or Sunnah to feel happy on a particular day. So to LKK, there was no need to lock that thread. She does not need to supply references from Quran or Sunnah for that. Now I'm no scholar but can the mods not lock threads they simply don't agree with? Everyone has the right of expressing their feelings without insulting others.
Its ridiculous.
Also, TLK merely expressed his POV. He did not stop anyone from being happy for wishing others. So he never implied it was a sin.
Re: TLK imposed his authority on Eid Milad thread
I might have gone over with the dictatorship thing. But you and others like you should have not jumped into that thread!

Thank you! Exactly. You said it far better than me.
Re: TLK imposed his authority on Eid Milad thread
And I apologize to TLK for my outrage anyway.

Why? Am I not a member of this site?
Any thread that gets started takes different shape and turns. How interesting that read would be if everyone was just doing Khair Mubarak for next 3 pages. I at least brought a turn to that thread. Similar thread in CAFE took the same turn (and I was not there at all so you cant blame me for that).
And yes, just like GIDSA said, I would've not locked that thread, but if LKK did then lets wait for Pakwoman reply or lets have Lusi and LKK figure it out. I am a member first and director later, and 99 % of the times, I like to participate as a member. I never threatened anyone or intimidated anyone with my title, in fact many times I say something foolish on purpose rather than act holier than though, just so people kid with me and treat me like another normal person.

You are my brother, dude. I respect your opinion. I also apologize if I appeared as 'THE DIRECTOR' anywhere, cause I dont want to. I just want to appear as a friend
Re: TLK imposed his authority on Eid Milad thread
Comon guys! Take a chill pill......it says at the end of the thread why it was close. Anyway, I have started a new thread for the greetings. you guys are more then welcomed to discuss the issue(s) related to milads and the date itself. Lets just keep the greeting and other discussion separate. Thank you!
Re: TLK imposed his authority on Eid Milad thread
No chill pill. Mostar ne meri ghairat ko lalkara hai. I need a glass of lassi to cool me down, not a chill pill.
Aap sab ko Eid Miladun Nabi mubarak :)

Re: TLK imposed his authority on Eid Milad thread
Okay wow i dint knw the thread could cause such a thing... But i c evetythings fine now :) There i was just opening a wishing thread in tje cafe an then was attacked by certain ppl tried explainin to them tht its just wishing thread no rituals n i admit i lost my cool, every1 has a right to their pov. there so bbc closed the thread cz it got ugly and in frustration i opened up a thread in rns... But if such a thread is agnst the rules of the subforum ie w/t refernc n stuff then llk did the right thing by closing it. So no hard feelings :@: It was a great eid miladunNabi... Until next year :D
Re: TLK imposed his authority on Eid Milad thread
So you admit that it was all your fault after all.

Re: TLK imposed his authority on Eid Milad thread
Why was the thread closed in the first place? What kinda modding is that rofl.
Re: TLK imposed his authority on Eid Milad thread
i actually agree with this, whenever any high profile member start posting in a thread like TLK & Prem Minister … everybody just back off.. certainly coz of getting points ![]()
Re: TLK imposed his authority on Eid Milad thread
Yeah sun ke mogamo khush hua
btw, prem minister is a member, not a mod.
