Is it ok not to tip a pizza guy? Should one feel bad for not tipping them?
How much should one generally tip a pizza guy?
Last time when I odered pizza, it come out to be $12 something, I had only $13 change so the left over cents were his tips. On top of that half of my money was in change. I quicky took the pizza, gave him the money and closed my door as I was kind of embarrassed.
My parents are pretty generous people, when I was with them, they used to give big tips to the pizza guy, anyhow I can't afford that big tips so is couple bucks ok?
Tipping is their livelihood...Blacks, Jews and Indians are notoriously bad tippers and blacks actually often don't even have enough to pay for the pizza itself...
Hispanics are the best tippers followed by whites...But when it's friday night or saturday night, no one tips more than a gora...
Faisal, he kinda has a point though … I know whenever I’ve gone out with me afro-caribbean friends, they refused to leave more than £1 in tip. I always feel really bad and end up tipping on their behalf We’ve actually talked about it and they admit it’s something theey’ve picked up off their families. That’s not to say all Afro-caribbean people are the same
I never tip take out people … didn’t realise we were meant to! Oops!
Oh my God. What kind of a person argues over how much should you tip a pizza guy. I mean tipping means you just grab any money you can find around and give it... usually a small sum of extra money is considered sensible. However, the option of hogging your money is always there :). I never ordered a pizza home here in Canada :).
And oh by the way in Dubai we used to have free delivery system from our local grocery (at no extra charge). The poor skinny Indian guy would sometimes even go to the bigger store (in the scorching heat) and get the stuff if it wasn't available at his shop. As far as I can remember we rarely (or never) gave him any tip. Besides, he was just below our building.
