Everyone writes about drinking, smoking, affairs....all these white ppl and frankly speaking i was sick of it...I wanted to bring my culture to the table esp bc white ppl r so alien to the concept of arrange marriages!

English Major with a minor in Philosophy and Political Science....couple more semesters to go... iA might go to law school afterwards....and becoming a personal trainer on the side....how about urself...what do u do for work?

nah...it's hard physical work for 4 months in the summer [april-aug] i hate it...but, that's life...got to live with it...initially, it was horrible like 6 yeats ago when i started this job...:(...it pays my bills and that's that :D

Why did you choose this field anyways??...did you know what u were getting into?
nah...it's hard physical work for 4 months in the summer [april-aug] i hate it...but, that's life...got to live with it...initially, it was horrible like 6 yeats ago when i started this job...:(...it pays my bills and that's that :D

oh well, to make a long story short, it was my initial failure at med school. i had no choice but to go for Botany Major and then came to Canada and here we've to do things ourselves...that too all manually coz research farms are wayyyyy too small to use heavy agri machinery. qismat meN jo likkhaa thaa so huaa :(

Hahah dont we all want to do medicine...that was my initial plan as well...so didnt happen...haha I actually suck at math...mein kuch bhi kar lu mujh say math nahi ho tha...toh meinay finally decide kar liya k medicine meray liye hai nahi...like u said Allah Miyan nay kuch aur hi decide kiya wah tha mere liye aur woh mujhe us raasthay pay lay gaye ....

U need to pass calculus 1,2, and 3 ---> to get into medicine in the U.S. .... haha not happening as far as im concerned...

Exactly!...family puts tremendous pressure on the children to become what they want rather than what the child wants. in my case, i wanted to be a doc myself but blew it. i used to live with my bro who, in that year, left India for the US, he sent me a lot of money and i lived in the hostel. got bad company. at the end of the year i had ONLY 30% attendance while 75% minimum was required...so, i was kicked out :( and that led me to go for the the undergrad program with Botany major...:(

O no!! slaps forehead Ppl make friends in college and they forget why they are really there at the end of four years...its not about the hangouts...its about what you accomplished while you were at school !! Cuz college is hella expensive and we shd feel fortunate to be able to attend it...bc a lot of smart folks who want to ...cant afford it...
