Exactly!..family puts tremendous pressure on the children to become what they want rather than what the child wants. in my case, i wanted to be a doc myself but blew it. i used to live with my bro who, in that year, left India for the US, he sent me a lot of money and i lived in the hostel. got bad company. at the end of the year i had ONLY 30% attendance while 75% minimum was required…so, i was kicked out 
and that led me to go for the the undergrad program with Botany major…
