Aamir Sohail is a spiteful man and a divisive force. He's been angry at not being put in charge of PCB and keeps finding faults with everything done after his departure, including the appointment of Woolmer thad was primarly secured by Ramiz Raja. He wants test cricketers 'managing' the board (read himself), and I am sure a lot of you agree with him. That asshole keeps ignoring the fact that running the PCB is an administrative operation best handled by professional managers. It is team selection and coaching that needs first hand cricket experience.
Don't be fooled by Aamir Sohail's arguments, he's pursuing an agenda of defamation of everybody involved in current PCB operations.
Just look at Pakistan's ranking/results between the time Inzi/Woolmer took over and today. And for God's sake, STFU!
^ its not about Aamir Sohail. All english commentators were saying that yonis khan will make a better captain and the english media criticised inzamam for his poor captaincy on the first day..not to mention Imran Khan feels the same.As for Bob Woolmer, bob will leave the team now and will come back a week before the start of the next series,he is not even spending enough time with the team let alone coaching them.
For future, we should have fully detailed medical exam of a player, including bone-structure, muscle's endurance, mental approach exam (:CareBear: how many will pass that) etc.
not sack inzi?why did australia sack steve waugh as captain for one dayers after a loss at home?you gotta set high standards to become no.1 especially when you have so much talent to do so.If pakistan goes into the world cup with inzi as captain and loses then everybody will say yes inzi was not the right captain.say that now.
Another Aamir Sohail argument, that Greg Chappell bought a house in India and Woolmer leaves Pakistan after a series.
(1) Would you also object to Bob Woolmer's diet? That Chappell has started eating Bhaji but Woolmer still eats South AFrican food?
DUDE, he has his own methods. Do you care about the results or do you care about how he gets them? Your god Aamir Sohail was also lamenting Javed Miandad's sacking. We all know how well that was working for us.
By the way, all our players spend time with their families after a series. Whatever Woolmer could do 'ALONE' (without them) after a series, can certainly be done (analysis, planning) from South AFrica. He's here when they start training again. Would you want Woolmer putting a tent in front of Inzi's house now.
I am about to pop a nerve here...
One defeat and you want us to sack everybody. How will you rebuild a team in the next few months before the WC.
And who would want to coach Pakistan knowing we sack our coach and captain after just one defeat.
Our ratio isn't bad at all. Its 1 out 4.
Keep in mind that our main bowlers weren't playing. Yes, there are few things that went wrong because of some wrong decisions.
This wicket needed a bowler like Razzaq (plus his batting). He could be a better batsman than Faisal.
Mushtaq could be another choice here. I'm sure he could be better than Danish (i know Danish was fine too).
Why do we always have to have Butt and Farhat.
Also if look back, most of the test matches this/last year that we have won, are mainly because of performances by a couple of players. I don't remember that in this last year we won a test match due to a complete team performance.
So we lost the test match and sries, big deal, it happens to the best, give the lads some credit for putting up a fine resistence until the last day.
When we win, we go over the top and when we lose its exactly the opposite, have some sense of balance guppies.
Pakistan's or Bobby's biggest failurfe has been the opening slot for Pakistan, for too long they have tested and tested to no avail. Who is at fault? Its not an easy call, but I wud blame those who are paid to coach and lead the side.
Pakistan was playing with a depleted side but so was England, therefore excuses do not make sense or ease the pain. Bobby boy needs to get off his big white fat arse and solve our openingpositions once and for all. Secondly, we need a second wicketkeeper in the side who will keep duntoo (Akmal) on his toes (he sure needs that with his height problem). Yunus Khan needs to be given the captiancy for ODI's and Inzi asked to play or take a much needed rest from the hectice one day cricket. Sami needs psychological help, Faisel Iqbal sud go back to his mammoo (miandad) and Wasim Barisent to Antartica so he cannot damage Pak cricket no more. Rest is fine, we can all rest and wait for the next series.
