Yes players did not perform well with bat or ball and Pakistan lost ,and there was a bit of poor umpiring as well which contributed to this humiliating defeat for Pakistan.But what about the captaincy of Inzamam and Selection?it was very poor.. when Pakistan had England on the ropes at 110 for 3,their best bowler in the innings Shahid Nazir was taken off the atack and Inzamam persisted with Sami and Gul who were going for more than 5 runs an over in conditions which were helping the fast bowlers.By the time Nazir came back into the attack pressure was taken off and the batsmen were set.A decision like that meant that England went on to make more than 500 instead of 350 or 360 they would’ve scored.And where was Abdul Razzaq?Abul Razzaq on the first day of this wicket when ball was moving around would’ve been handful and his batting is not worse than Faisal Iqbal’s batting so why was he dropped?.And it is obvious that Bob Woolmer is just there to make some easy money his coaching has not helped the openers at all and they are looking worse than ever before, and the fielding and bowling is just as bad.Time for these Fat Asses to lose their jobs,Pakistan can not afford to have a lathargic and unimaginative captatin like Inzamam anymore with the world cup coming up next year.Younis Khan should take his place immediately.

How are you? Please be patient and let's wait for the effects till the series get over. In my opinion, Inzamam Ul Haq should remain as the captain. It is basically players' fault for not performing well and Younis Khan has no magic that can make the players perform well.

Pakistan team did exceptionally well to even come to a position where they had a chance at victory after having conceded 500+ runs (courtesy umpires) in the first innings.
You guys (the ones overreacting) are a sad sad bunch.

we did nt win those series because of great captaincy or great coaching..the win against india and srilanka was due to mohd. asifs brilliance and the one against england was due to shoaib akhtars great bowling.obviously when you are wining ,you don't notice everything and feel everything is fine untill one day when the match winners are no longer in the team and the team has to fight to survive and the captain turns out to be a moron.

Aamir Sohail is a spiteful man and a divisive force. He's been angry at not being put in charge of PCB and keeps finding faults with everything done after his departure, including the appointment of Woolmer thad was primarly secured by Ramiz Raja. He wants test cricketers 'managing' the board (read himself), and I am sure a lot of you agree with him. That asshole keeps ignoring the fact that running the PCB is an administrative operation best handled by professional managers. It is team selection and coaching that needs first hand cricket experience.
Don't be fooled by Aamir Sohail's arguments, he's pursuing an agenda of defamation of everybody involved in current PCB operations.
Just look at Pakistan's ranking/results between the time Inzi/Woolmer took over and today. And for God's sake, STFU!

In case you didnt notice let me bring it to your attention that in this series we were without Shoaib, Asif, Rana and Malik. Not many teams can cope with losing such talent form their ranks. I suppose it was Inzi and Woolmers fault for losign them as well.

DDC MiaN, we didn't have good enough bowling attack from the begnining of the series. I don't know why you are surprised.
However, it might be time for PCB to decide on the captain seat uptil WC07.

Infact Pakistan should be suspended to play test matches anymore, Pakistan should only be allowed to play ODI’s. They must win Champions Trophy, and World Cup. And if they fail to do that, ICC should stripp off their test status

Man man man, one defeat and you are asking to sack Inzi.
Let me break it to you, you yourself admit that we don't have much of a backbone without Inzi, in fact, our team has been running on Inzi bonus for the past couple of years now. I am one of the biggest critics of Inzi's captaincy flaws, but I don't want to sack him, because Inzi has expressed that he wouldn't want to play if sacked. And let me tell you, with our team in the current development phase, there is no captain that will win you the World Cup without Inzi.
So please shut up, and let him and Woolmer work it out. They have been doing fine for almost two years now. I am very happy with a calm and united Pakistani dressing room. Stop creating divisions. Younis is your next captain, we all know that. Fro now, no one is stopping Younis from 'being all chirpy' even when Inzi is ON THE FIELD you know? And he can certainly make suggestions to Inzi when needed.
