Time for Indian Govt to step in....

…and call off the Indian tour to Pakistan.

I mean the cross-border terrorism has not stopped.

Or at least ask for cancellation of ONE DAY series for security reasons (Test matches are fine) .

What say friends ?

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in....

ha ha ha....exactly my thoughts....We can always say...Pakistan is a earthquake prone zone so for safety reasons we can call the tour off

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in....

I knew dhoties will feel the shake with the earth quake caused by Afridi's bat :D

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in…

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in....

:):).. That is an interesting post though I have to say that after a long time, the upcoming India- Pakistan series will be played with both teams at the same level. Both teams are playing amazingly well equipped with talented players and well-recognized international coaches. If Pakistan has mercurial Afridi, India has Dhoni. If Shoaib Akhtar has improved his batting skills, so does Pathan. Overall, Pakistan has a better bowling attack and India has a superior batting lineup. It will be an extremely interesting series and both teams are equally skillful. In my opinion the team who will hold its nerves in crunching times will pull it together. Historically, Pakistan has always played better cricket when it is pushed to the wall and it has nothing to lose. It would be interesting to see how Pakistani team would react to nation’s high expectations against arch rival.

Anyway, there is no need to panic and no need to cancel the tour yet, rather the motto of both teams should be BRING IT ON.

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in…

For god sakes, no more of that Jeet Lo Dil crap!

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in…

:d:D…yarr, I was being honest…

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in....

^abey PD...jyaada battisi mat dikhaaao.

Unfortunately, One-day games format is tailor-made for insane tulleybaajs....and the Pak team just seems to have too many of them...that's all.

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in…

not bat but his dancing shoes …

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in....

good joke, but the upcoming India series will be interesting and very testing for our 'team'.

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in....

Hahahaha... so our Indian members do have a sense of humor. Good job, Some1

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in…

So one thing we agree that dhoties did shaked either with Afridi’s bat or dance…good thats all matter as long as dhoties shake

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in…

not only dhotis and trousers … but everything inside shalwar kamiz also shaked when he was caught dancing for the first time (i think he started dancing much before he was caught …) …

shaking in shalwar and kameez was so high that pakistani board has to request dancer afridi in a meeting to show some mercy on shaking shalwar and kameez holders …

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in....

I think the test series would be quite competitive. But the one day series, unfortunately for my friend Some1 bhai, won't go too well for India!

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in....

Looking at the treatment which bowlers like Hoggard, Flintoff, Harmison have got, I don't see good times ahead for the Indian bowling.

Indian batting line up (which I hope will include Ghambir), looks strong on paper but as we all saw when Pakistan went to India it is as prone to collapse as any other.

I look forward to Pakistan exacting further revenge for our defeat last year.

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in…

I think you are on vodka…don’t know what you are talking about. I bet its the dhoties shaking…no point even replying to you!

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in…

>>> what @ shalwar kameez …

**>>> but i find it interesting to reply to ur Intelligent posts **

Re: Time for Indian Govt to step in....

Okay dumb me but i didnt catch the sarcasm in Some1's first post and i thought something terrible had happened cross border again :/ I scrambled to BBC and other news networks but couldnt find anything (to my relief) and then realized what it was about :p

Waisay last couple of days i have been extra tense as i was praying and praying that the Karachi ODI goes by smoothly without any hiccups. I watched Pak's innings and went to sleep straight after. When i woke up ofcourse the first thing to do was to check cricinfo for the score. In addition to hoping for a pak win, i was also hoping to not read any headlines about anything bad happening in Karachi. Thankfully there were none.

maihu_don and teaser please stop fighting. Save it for January.. you will have plenty to reason to fight it out then. :)

Sincerely,
Captain Lota
