Time Delay in Dreams 

Re: Time Delay in Dreams 

Actually you don't need to be asleep for this phenomenon to occur. It can happen while you are awake too. Once, back in Karachi, I was crossing the street to get to school and suddenly I heard a screeching noise. I looked in that direction and saw a mini-bus hurtling towards me (although brake-skidding). I distinctly remember my arm going up (in slow motion) to stop it and then parts of my life started flashing before me and it seemed like a long time but then the bus hit my hand a little and i got knocked back on the street with just a sprained wrist (thank god). I always wonder about it!

Tofi, in the case like yours .. I can theorize that the sudden blood ruch to the brain probably speeds up the brain activity and you can think of thousand things in flash of a second. ::desimunda:

Re: Time Delay in Dreams 

amma ye bhi khoob kahi...

15-20 minutes? are you one of those people who prove the 'gadhay ghoray baich kar sona' thing? Forget about sleeping and then having a long dream, how can one even fall in a deep sleep in 15-20 minutes?

Re: Time Delay in Dreams 

Okay weird question, Does anyone have a weird falling feeling when about to wake up??

Like when Im dreaming and bout to wake up I have this free falling from the sky feeling and landing on my bed with a thud right before my eyes open.

These days Im falling asleep on the rug and the thud is getting very painful :emmy:

Re: Time Delay in Dreams 

Maybe you are falling from the bed on to the rug down below .. hence the free fall feeling .. and the tud ... and the pain

Re: Time Delay in Dreams 

:smack: Jee naheen. Its not bout sleeping and falling off beds.

Its a feeling that I get right before I wake up when Im dreaming that Im falling from the sky back onto the bed/floor waghera.

Re: Time Delay in Dreams 

my case is quiet the opposite, all night i see one dream that when i really think bout it its just 5-10 minutes long but i see it while i have a good 7-8 hour sleep.

Re: Time Delay in Dreams 

^ can you connet dreams if you wake up in the middle.

I can, if its a good dream and Im awaken in the middle of it then I can force myself to go back to sleep and continue that dream

Re: Time Delay in Dreams 

Re: Time Delay in Dreams 

There are two known reasons for it…

Either one has lost love, close contact, money or confidence in their lives due to some event.

Or…

It shows that one is not in control in a sense of love…like falling in love. One has discovered something very pleasent and can not control his/her emotions/feelings about the person, event or stage in life.
