^^ I agreed with you when you said that time moves through us.
So in real life, speed of time is 1 sec/ second
in dreams, it could be 1 minute /second ... or something like that
Actually you don't need to be asleep for this phenomenon to occur. It can happen while you are awake too. Once, back in Karachi, I was crossing the street to get to school and suddenly I heard a screeching noise. I looked in that direction and saw a mini-bus hurtling towards me (although brake-skidding). I distinctly remember my arm going up (in slow motion) to stop it and then parts of my life started flashing before me and it seemed like a long time but then the bus hit my hand a little and i got knocked back on the street with just a sprained wrist (thank god). I always wonder about it!
Tofi, in the case like yours .. I can theorize that the sudden blood ruch to the brain probably speeds up the brain activity and you can think of thousand things in flash of a second. ::desimunda:
15-20 minutes? are you one of those people who prove the 'gadhay ghoray baich kar sona' thing? Forget about sleeping and then having a long dream, how can one even fall in a deep sleep in 15-20 minutes?
my case is quiet the opposite, all night i see one dream that when i really think bout it its just 5-10 minutes long but i see it while i have a good 7-8 hour sleep.
Either one has lost love, close contact, money or confidence in their lives due to some event.
Or…
It shows that one is not in control in a sense of love…like falling in love. One has discovered something very pleasent and can not control his/her emotions/feelings about the person, event or stage in life.
