I dont mean to offend anyone here BUT if you've got some kick a** toned legs, then tights are for you.
If you dont, then capris, shalwars, pants or even the wide legs that are back these days are better. Yes, trendy is good but you need to be able to pull it off with class. Find what suits you best. I personally dont like tights because Ive seen them on people who shouldnt be wearing them (every move you make shows in tights). I only wear tights under long dresses with long boots. All you can really see is a bit of my knees and thats it.

well it seems to be nice but if u could post the entire pic of ur outfit (widout ur face if u dont wana show it) it would be better... but its looking nice and a change...

Are you kidding me? I think it's extra hot. I have a fashion forward friend who swaps out her black churridar and shalwars for black tights all the time. She looks very chic.
My only suggestion would be to keep the tights simple. Adorn the kameez as much as you want and let the tights just compliment the look. Lace tights would look gorgeous too!

Looks terrible to me. People in the west wear these kind of tights also with long shirts, I don't like it as I think it's not appropriate for pardah use.

HOnestly tights only look good on well toned slim legs.
If you sport elephant legs then steer clear of tights or any other clingy piece of garment with flesh hanging off in pools.
Also tights should always be worn with tops and dreses that are long. God the times ive seen desis walking around with a Tshirt and ass caught within tights. So Yuckifying!!
Miamisweet The outfit looks good with the tights, maybe you arent comfy in wearing the pair combined and thats why you are in doubt.
I totally agree with Adra…but it depends on how you feel…if you are comfortable chances are you are rocking! if not then stay away from it…till you get comfortable with it!
Last july I visited Pakistan, and had worn tights over there with kamiz, and most of my cousins were wearing it too, but it was more for practical purposes then fashion statements…here it is not with kamiz…and I know my top is hideous too…sorry fashion police!
but miami…I know you’ll take right…decision…and you’ll rock as always!

yeah the above looks nice put up a pic with a kameez to see what it looks like, i think if your slim it may look nice, as for myself i usually wear them under my shalwar in the cold weather when going out in the cold lol!!!

yea i dont know how my parents will react to me wearing tights to a mix gathering i think ill wear it to a girls thing… if not i can always wear it after i get married but dont know if its gonna be in then,
yeah HNK I wore this in pk....and many many others do wear it there as well....honestly I never felt being singled out for wearing it...as I was not alone!
Anyway, I am 5-6" and a lil more......but I wish I was more taller than that.....so guess heels have to help me greatly in this department!

woww...i don't know how you guys are wearing tights and capris in Pak lol....times have certainly changed.......i could not imaging heading out without wearing a proper dupatta.

I am going to have to see tights/leggings with kameez...you have to know what you're doing to pull it off.
Also, there was a trend in India or Pak where kameez's were coming with see through colored tights...anyone remember that? Is that still going on? I saw a fashion show video where they were show casing those and every inch of fat/skin was jiggling as they walked! These models were not even mildly chubby!
