At Ruksani stage where the bride leaves her home heading to the new home of the boys just before departure into the car why do brides throw unmade chavel white over there heads?

This is Indian ritual, but in most of families it is done, it means after the bride leaves the house she left wealth behind her (in her parents house).

This is just wastage of food itms only.
