Full points to PTI for expelling three ministers of their government on corruption charges. I hope this sets a precedence for the other three provinces too.

KPK assembly has 123 MPAs. PTI needs 62 for majority…and they have 53 (PTI) + 8 (JI) + 5 (AJI) = 66
It does put them in a tight spot, but good to know that they are not afraid of losing power. Im pretty sure M. Fazlur Rehman will start drooling again.

It seems like this was more of an internal tussle. The health minister resigned, and he indirectly criticized Shahbaz Sharif by implying that SS was running after personal fame. According to him, "362 people died of dengue virus in Punjab in 2011 but no minister resigned.***
He further said that no minister claimed responsibility when more than 300 people died due to PIC medicine scandal and 192 children died of measles during current year.
Tahir Sindhu said that he was criticized for the death of only 10 persons due to dengue virus this year. He said that he has resigned from his posts but will remain a PML-N worker and continue work for the party."
No points for guessing who was the health minister in 2011 (or for the past 5 years for that matter)***

Now only if we can get some PML-N guys here in this thread. I fleetingly saw a talk show or two on TV today and they were discussing this, and the PML-N guys were just doing what they do best, that it is all drama and so on.
PTI may have a thousand and one faults, but where they are right, we have to get together and applaud them. It’s their first time, after all.

There is a thing called Surplus Pool. If Showbaz decided to punish any minister he might move them to SP where they will get pay+benifits. They just moved 100+ heads in to this SP on the name of sadgi apnao drama.

From what I have read, JI as a party, has not endorsed Munawar Hassans statement. Just like its illogical to blame the entire army for a martial laws, as it is the policy decision of 1 or 2 generals, it is illogical to blame the entire JI party for misguided comments of Munawwar Hassan. JI ministers have been performing cleanly, and they should be given credit for that.
Not to mention, Saleem Safi was an idiot for twisting around the question to squeeze a questionable response from Munawar Hassan. Its like NYPD female police officers posing as hookers to catch solicitors.
