ISLAMABAD: Three people were killed and at least 10 injured Wednesday when unidentified assailants hurled explosives into a Presbytarian church near Sialkot city, Punjab province, sources reported.
“Three people have been killed and 10 others were injured when unidentified men threw explosives into a UP church in a village,” said police officer Mohammad Ashraf in Daska town in Punjab province, speaking by telephone.
The attack took place at 8:30pm (15h30 GMT), when two men wearing burqas threw hand grenades into a United Presbytarian church during an evening Christmas service, an interior ministry official in Islamabad said.
Sometimes I wonder who gains from these kind of attacks. Did it help the attackers "cause"(whatever that is) in anyway.
But one thing it sure did - it took away the lives of three innocent children.
It is time we replace the word "terrorists" with "animals" I think. The word "terrorists" seems rather simplified.
Some1, i agree. :( Barbarians. What did anyone gain from this.
Talwar... in my opinion Musharraf is doing a better job against such perpetrators than previous Pakistani leaders. Granted we have a LONG way to go yet, but i still give him some credit for what i perceive of as a genuine attempt to crack down against such criminals.
I have to agree with nadia here.. these EVIL acts are the works of Criminals who are out to destroy the racial harmony that exists between muslims and Christians. Im sure the Authorities will do everything possible to make sure those criminals are brought to Justice.
very sad and sorry hear the death of young girls. it is unfortunate the in process of Islamisation in pakistan we have lost a basic human values. Lives of womens, childerns, minorities and lower class has no values in soceity. If Qaid-E-Azam knew about this state of Pakistan, I am sure he wished he never made Pakistan. Mullah wins, Jinnah lost.
Instead your govt lets them run for elections

You mean like the Modi government of Gujrat, which instigated the burning and killing of 2,500 Muslims but who were still allowed to contest elections, and come back to power with a thumping majority?
btw, did you hear about the attack on a Christian church in India? I notice you have not said anything about that as well? Clean up your own house, before lecturing us.
This is a condemnable act in which you are shamelesly trying to score political points. Shameless because you yourself never show up to condemn the acts of Genocidal murderers in India who burn and butcher Muslims in their thousands, and attack Christians.

Thanks, Malik. :) You have already provided a very good answer, i think. Talwar my dear, i might throw the question right back at you and ask you what precise policies have been implemented subsequent to the massacre of Muslims in Gujarat? Can we expect a guarantee that such a slaughter of innocent civilians, guilty of no other crime than of belonging to the "wrong" faith, will never repeat itself in India?
Doesn't matter whether one is Muslim, Hindu, Jew, Christian - it's wrong to attack an innocent human being. Period. We can't expect miracles overnight, i think Musharraf is doing his best to stem these crimes and i commend him for his efforts. Let's hope that it continues, and that NO individual - whether in Pakistan or in India - ever has to lose their life again because of their religious beliefs.
Hey wait, wearing burqahs. MQM terrorists backed by RAW used similar tactics, when they used to go on killing binges in Karachi. Secondly, Talwars it's none of anyone's business, who's elected and who's released from Pakistani jails. People had a clear choice. They opted to vote for Azam Tariq, and elected him to be the representative in the parliament. Just like Modi, the ultra thug and terrorist, is now the ruler of Gujrat. Heck, the people went ahead and voted him anyway. Who's the biggest murderer; Azam tariq or Modi? I am sure you are smart enough to figure out. Where were the condemnations, when muslims were torched alive and baked in bakery ovens. Where is the protection for muslim civilians, where the Indian army has been raping and killing innocent muslims. You should be ashamed to even talk about condemnation, there's plenty to be condemned in your own homeland.
This is disgusting, this is not Islam-this is barbarism. We are supposed to garuntee the security of religious minorities in Pakistan, any so called Islamic state.
Exactly, and Talwar has proved me 100% correct in proving that he is showing nothing but shameless hypocrisy, and political point scoring. Lets give him another example:-
I applaud all Pakistani’s in this thread who have roundly condemned the actions of terrorists in Pakistan. Now lets see if Talwar can rise to the occasion and do the same in regards to the GENOCIDAL murderers of Muslims, and attackers of Christians in his own country, India? Or will he contiune to spew hateless hypocrisy?
Talwar, where's the proof, that azam tariq has ordered these killings. You are blaming jaish, since it has brought Indian army on its knees in Kashmir. Well, we like to call them brave soldiers. Just like you call your hindian terrorist army, the brave jawaans, who are only good for killing and hurting the innocents. When Modi can order the killing of thousands of muslims, and Kasmiri army can burn down entire villages, I am sure there's a lot you have on your hands to condemn. Keep at it.

Talwar, back up for a second... What has Modi done with the terrorists who slaughtered thousands of Muslims? Sorry, i don't see you condemning that. Taking part in a protest and donating $300 is well and good, but how do you know the Pakistani Guppies here have not condemned the loss of life in Christians in their own way? Do you see any Pakistani Guppy in this thread who said "Great, i am so glad those *tards died". Do you? i have always, **always, made it a point on Gupshup to apply the same standards i expect of other govts., towards my own govt.; let's hear about why Modi has been allowed to return to power subsequent to the slaughter of thousands of Muslims? How do you clear your conscience of that?
In your haste to condemn the deaths of innocent Christians in Pakistan, don't forget that there is a river of blood gushing on Gujarat's doorstep as well - and that the govt. currently in power, is responsible for that genocide.
