They haven’t announced the second perpetrators name yet so hard to say what kind of a desi he is. Brampton has a huge desi population. Lots of news about violence against females comes out of Vancouver also with a large Sikh population. Just recently an Arab guy killed his wife in front of their daughter in Montreal. do we need to arrange for some education for some people.

Your country had a mosque attacked by a supremacist where dozens of people were killed but yea lets get a magnifying glass to make sure all desi devils are highlighted even when there is a domestic issue. Meanwhile you were buisy here twisting every thread into anti-desi movement.

So I am a Canadian who loves his canadian values, is there something terribly wrong with adopting the values of the country that is your home. We did have an attack on the mosque and the entire country banded together in support of our slain country men from one end of the country to the other. So how did you react to all the christian worshipers who got killed in Egypt. You seriously think your opinion is relevant to me?

We here are working very hard to bring down the violence against women and enacting stronger laws and providing more education, we train law enforcement agencies, prosecute and punish perpetrators and provide all sorts of protections, we have shelters and rehabilitation centres.

We do realise that there still exists the problem and hence all the laws getting tougher and more resources allocated for females, but race and culture is also a factor, In blacks death is 4.4 per thousand, in whites it is 1.5. There are lots of Rumblings about DV in silicon valley by south asian men. A few high profile cases got people talking.
This is part of the awful epidemic of domestic violence perpetrated by South Asian men. Our community has one of the highest rates of DV.

I think the society has to be ready to accept a change in cultural mindset, schooling from kindergarten and what they see around effects them a lot. So far unfortunately things have reported to get worse and the religious authorities vetoed protection bills and called them blasphemous. Here is anothercase of an Indian tycoon abusing his pregnant GF and then did it again.
