I thought of opening a thread related to three major asian teams against non-asian teams.

Srilanka worldcup runner up crumbled to England. They totally dominated them.
Pakistan runner up of 20/20, loosing badly to SA
India seems like crumbling right now to Australia.
To be honest I rather be in Pakistan’s shoes. First of all its not onedays we are loosing at the moment, not that I think test cricket is not important but at least we can have few things going against us. No tests played by this team since long time. Then we have players who came back to play test cricket after long time. Muhammad Yousuf, Inzi. Then our decision to play two seemers. Then last but not least we lost the important Toss which gave SA edge.
How about India and Srilanka, they are really in a shamble situation right now. What are your views?
Do you think Pakistan will bounce back in One day? or they will be in the similar situation?
For God sake...we are losing to the GREAT Aussies. Everyone would have done the same..
But losing a home series against England and SA is sure shameful.

Hell No, its nothing like that. SA is a good team, but Pakistan should have definitely played better, lets see what they do in 2nd innings.
No matter how good the team is... a White Wash in a home test series is very humiliating...Desi teams rarely do that.I dont remember when it happened las time..
Btw, how is winning 1 ODI against Australia out of 3 ODIs (well, make it 4 now).
There is no comparision. Take out India from the equation and put any other team result will be very similar 3-1 or 4-0. Getting beating 3-1 or 4-0 by aussies in ODI series is norm for any team. But a white wash in home test series is rare. In my memory I never saw India getting beaten like that. I dont even recall if Pakistan was beaten like that in recent time either except for that Sharjah series but then it was at neutral venue.

Well I guess Fair & Balance you totally got it wrong. See the thread topic ( Three BIGs crumbling), so when I said Pak is doing bad in Test matches, I wasn't making excuses, I was only stating the fact that they had no test match practice, I wasn't comparing INDIA , Srilanka and Pak, all I was trying to say that what is happening to asian teams against other teams and feeling bad for all asians.
Anyways now you made a point so the least I can do is clear you up a bit. I think its a bit of exageration 5-0 to Bangaladesh.....and Pak haven't been white washed yet?????? match is still on....result can be anything.
But such a strong batting line up of Indian team, crumbling to 148/all out is a humiliation to be honest specially when they just won a major cup.
Only three batsman getting into double figure.....what do you say about that.....
I was looking forward to high scoring match but unfortunately India disappointed me big time, I must admit I enjoyed little masters batting........I wish he had stayed a bit longer though....
please don't think its India Pak bash thing. Thats the last thing I would ever do....you won't see any post from me in the past about India bashingggg , whether its political or cricket. (never)
I know its not India bashing..All I am saying is that comparision is not fair. Losing against AUS is not same as losing to SA and Eng in home series. All the team lose to Aussies but Desi team losing to SA and England in this manner is rare..
to be honest Pak record against SA is Played 16 Won 3 and lost 8 and 4 draw so far. Which as Indian record is Played 19 won 4 and lost 9 and draw 6. And Srilank played 17 Won 4 Lost 8 and draw 5.

Let me help you. Last time it happened in 2000 when India lost to South Africa in a home series by 2-0 and it was a 2 test match series. We know that India is pretty fond of losing to bangladesh. So much so that even when the opposition is not BD, they lose against them as if they are white washed by Bangalis by 5-0 in an ODI series
Talking about ODIs, an interesting fact. India is the only privileged side who has lost to Bangalis on more than 1 occasion in ODIs All the other sides have lost to Bangalis only once (obviouisly I am not including Kenya, Zim)
