The Holy Prophet (saw) was true Prophet God. God has protected all his Prophets from comitting sin on purpose, but in my opinion he has not made them Knowledgeable over all matters.
So he makes mistakes in other words. If he is such an imperfect prophet then so much for that hadith demanding people to follow his imperfect sunnah! Beause:
If that hadith about a Jew correcting him is true then it means he was wrong earlier (he was allowing people to say 'By Kaabah'). And if he was wrong in that example then you don't know how many MORE mistakes he allowed in religion which were not corrected by a non-Muslim.
If he can't make correct decisions about these mundane worldly matters then how do you know if he brought the right religion to you? This question is important because he actually never talked to God himself and always got revelations through a voice which claimed to be that of an angel. How do you know such an imperfect man did not make mistake in such important matters?
Dear friend, save Muslims from these questions and just agree that this hadith is fake.
