According to Babar Ghauri, he does have record of every container reaching and leaving the port. They were then transferred to customs and further to other agencies. Whether they reached their destination or not, was not in the control of ministry of shipping. Their job was done when containers were handed over.
Whether they were meant for NATO or for Pakistan Army, either one of them should have made huge hue and cry about so much quantity of advanced weapons gone missing. But nobody did.

Also, everyone remained for years. The silence was broken only when MQM and Karachiites demanded action against extortionist and kidnappers supported by Sindh PPP. That tells a lot.
Similar pathetic childish tactic as coming up with the idea of Muhajir Republican Army right at the same time. Talk about little brains.

I think … naming the Militant group of MQM as Mohajir Liberation Army is a part of some sort of preemptive strategy … to deal with the situation…

knowledgeable sources say..the situation is not simple…and it has International implications …so they have to or should tread the road …very very carefully…

… a very conservative estimate of the Militant wing of MQM is around 2 lacs…Period… this is the number of volunteers Altaf Hussain has offered to the army in fighting terrorism …earlier he had already offered one lac volunteers to the Traders of Karachi to fight the Bhatta menace or rather ..fight the competition …provided they pay for its upkeep… period.

…Also Altaf Hussain in 2001 has already threatened …to launch an armed struggle.

It does have international implications. This concocted story by Urdu haters is being picked up by haters of Pakistan all over the world. This is being presented as the failure and incompetence of Pakistan to be ignorant of thousands of thousands of weapon containers gone missing, and then these weapons ending up all across the country in the hands of terrorists and criminals.

Does anyone remember Dana Rorabacher? He is a known Indian sympathizer who has maligned Pakistan previously as well. Here is his tweet:

That will be the same response given by any shipping minister. The responsibility for moving containers to their destination is not that of shipping ministry. And if there is any truth in this allegation then** why didn't Pakistan Army or NATO say anything when those thousands and thousands of sophisticated weapons supposedly went missing?** Can you answer this question?

We criticize other parties and conveniently ignored the parties who support or have soft feelings. I'm yet to see people accepting wrong doings of the parties they support. No one can deny militant wings of MQM, ANP or PPP's backing of Amn Committee. At least, we as a public should start opening our eyes and telling truth leaving our bias away.

Topic is not that what you are saying here. This is specific to stealing of containers full of ' maut ka saaman from Karachi Port during MQM's Federal Minister. If this is not decided now, people like you living in Karachi will be the most sufferers. There will be more bloodshed all over Karachi beyond your imagination, if culprits are not caught and all missing arms and ammunition is not recovered and accounted for, missing from these containers. It is really a time for action, not blah blah blah, if you want to live in Karachi peacefully.

It is probably a hoax, see this: Missing containers of ISAF/NATO forces being probed by NAB: NA told

Media reported 11,000 containers missing in 2010 but in January 2011 ISAF/NATO clarified that only 14 containers were missing out of 26490. Now they are bringing it up again.

I know this is not topic, but time and again these discussions are leading to racist terms 'Sindhi rule', 'Sindhi racist PPP', 'Urdu speaking haters'. why? because we not only want to support political parties, but also militant wings they have. With this attitude no investigation will bear any fruit. It will be taken as political revenge, because we don't want to find out truth. We just want to see opposite parties in hot waters.

I agree. I have replied to these allegations to one here. He has not responded me yet. You have to understand MQM is a racist party founded on ethnic back ground. Their survival is only through spreading ethnic hatred. It is responsibility of majority to condemn these racists with full force and brought to justice the crimes they have committed. Similarly if there are criminals in PPP, they should also be brought to justice. But PPP is not ethnic based and not founded on ethnic hatred. You have to understand the differentiation between the two.

I think same is true for PPP as well. They have been playing Sindh card for decades (without actually being loyal to Sindh. Do I need to explain this?). Can you condemn acts of Amn Committe and Zulfiqar Mirza in absolute terms?
