If it could, then the filthy rich would easily be able to buy "respect" even after committing the most horrible thing.

in my case it can solve most my problems, even I mean in general money can solve 95% problems but the thing is humans never feel satisfied. We always want more and more and there always will be some thing we want all the time.

Most people are likely to disagree but I think money can buy you ALMOST everything. It can buy you happiness, beauty everything. Look at some of the 40 plus people who look perfect. They can afford to look that way because of all the botox and God knows what. If you don't have money you can't do anything. You can't enjoy all the luxuries in life.

so money can buy most of the tangible things and in this materialistic world, well of course I am in this world as well, we climb the stairs one by one and the 1st few stairs are material. like food, shelter, transport etc .. . . then we climb to the next stairs which could be any one of the non-tangible things you mentioned.
Its like one has light headache and a broken arm, both are pains but one would forget or never notice the headache while his arm is in pain and not fixed.
oh you are talking about buying “cosmetic” stuff ?

It depends on one's moral values and priorities. Some people can be "bought" with money. Their "respect" and "love" can be bought with money. Whereas for others........respect is earned with mutual respect. And if one has such an outlook.......then they can't be manipulated easily by material things.
It sounds cliche......but it is true. Money can't buy always buy you everything. Money will not always buy you sincere respect......sincere love......sincere friendships......or even true happiness. The brief joy that materialistic goods (luxury car, designer clothes, etc) provide you lasts for only a few moments.
But as human beings.....we require the basics (food, shelter, clothes, health) to be happy. There's a psychologist by the name of Maslow who created the hierarchy of needs. And according to his theory.........we can't meet our more higher and complex needs unless the very basic needs (food, water, clothes, shelter, security, and self-esteem) are established first........because they form the foundation of our development. So......that said.....money is needed to acquire our basic needs. However there are people who are filthy rich and are miserable. Money can buy you some happiness.......money can be a quick-fix.......but it can't always buy you everything....and it's not a guarantee for complete contentment.

I think it's interesting that when we're asked this question, we automatically think "will ALOT of money buy me happiness?"
But it needn't be viewed that way. Money buys you happiness - absolutely. But in moderate amounts. Luckiest are those that are not in debt. But live without discomfort.
