Those special moments!

Re: Those special moments!

My hubby is an F1 fanatic....and luckily F1 is coming to Montreal, Canada this June after a 2 year's break....

His birthday is end of May so I am planning this as a big surprise for him....I already got the tickets and made the necessary arrangements to go there....

This would be his first birthday after our wedding that we are celebrating together, so it kindda monumental....

That's awesome. Has he done anything similar for you on a special occasion?

Well, he wasn't very nice to me on my birthday last year. But this year was nice. can't complain. :)

Choozy.. my husband is such a big forumla one fan as well.. he gets up in the middle of the night last year just to watch it live.. We have to go to a wedding so we can't go for the Canada racing.. but I am sure it'll be awesome.. as I can imagine how excited your hubby will be :) have a wonderful time!

awww. But what did he do to make it up?

Re: Those special moments!

My rant continues (from another thread). I'm hardly getting any responses from men or women regarding the special things that have been done for women. Are men that selfish?

Re: Those special moments!

my husband makes up with me by bringing home flowers and a BIG hug as soon as he enters home.

Awww thats sweet.

Re: Those special moments!

^thanks…but i meant he “will” be doing it this way…as i havent found him yet.. :phati:

SMH… lol

Seriously… what is wrong with men??? Why cant they just sit down, think about our personality and likes, and do things for us accordingly??? If we have the ability to make it happen so do they…?

Wish the same …but first I have to find him :cheegum:

You guys are setting yourself up for disappointment. Men are nothing like the characters they play in old bollywood films. They are more like the character Salman Khan plays in movies such as No Entry.

These are for the special moments na…I know thats not possible everyday :hinna:

Re: Those special moments!

for my birthday this year we were driving down to toronto to get some paperwork done and I was really dreading it but the hubby had called my BIL to make sure there was a cake and whole place was decorated after which we all went out for dinner at KaraMia - he gave me a Coach bag as a present :)

For our anniversary he took me to DisneyWorld, Florida and then gave me a Burberry Perfume as a token - but the real present was just being with him and not having to worry about cooking all the time :)

everyday ko choro… they hate doing stuff for us on special occasions. They feel that no matter what they do, we will be unhappy, so they dont they anything. Than they wonder why we are unhappy. Go to the “Anniversary Surprise Picnic” thread. I was venting over there.

And look at ALL the replies this post got.. lol… Not even ONE incident has been described by a male.

You got one of the good ones lol. MashAllah! I am very happy to hear this!!! God bless your husband, there are very few people like him in this world.

now you are scaring me.....

Re: Those special moments!

Anya, that's the sad truth but not all men are like that. About 1% are considerate enough to do something special for their wife on her b-day.

Re: Those special moments!

only we gals care aba those special moments men absolutely don't care

may be 1 in a 100 wud but NOT ALL are that caring and loving. I know this girl very good frnd of mine who has spent 8 yrs with this guy and on his every birthday or any special occasion wud be there for him, but for her, the birthday/valentine anything comes and goes and she every time is sitting and crying

Re: Those special moments!

I am reading all this with great care... it's amazing how my change of status has actually made me read all this and learn so much... :)
