Those special moments!

Question for both men and women.

Men- What are some special things you have done for your wife on special occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, Valentines day, mothers day?
What about on the rare occasion where you have greatly messed up and hurt her feelings, have you attempted to do anything special for her to make everything up?

Ladies- What are some special things your husband has done for you in the all of the above situations?

Re: Those special moments!

I wonder about what special things on special occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, Valentines day, mothers day I will do

And I wonder about the rare occasion where I will greatly messed up and hurt her feelings, and how I will attempt to do anything special for her to make everything

:(

So your saying you have no idea? Your not married right?

Re: Those special moments!

:hinna:

My post was a replica of what you wrote, copy pasted, I switched ‘have you’ to ‘I’

You just butchered my joke

:snooty:

Abhi uni se nikalnay do aap shaadi baad ki baat hai :frowning:

haha… that’s what you get for trying to make a joke out of my post :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Those special moments!

I'm not married but 'those special moments' become a headache for most of my married friends.

Why is that?

Re: Those special moments!

***Shudn't every moment be special.....why wait for an occasion ?

I think its special not when its expected but when its unexpected that makes up for the times when you mess things up .***

Yes I agree. Do you have an example ?

…as soon as I get hitched i’ll give you examples :hehe:***

They are afraid that the party expecting a gift or an act for 'those special moments' would examine the atomic structure of the gifts or up to the minute details of itinerary to find something to complain about.

Re: Those special moments!

^^It is not really about the gift but more about the thought... that you remembered to wish her on her b.day, vice versa!

Yup, exactly!

Re: Those special moments!

^ Theoretically, yes.

Re: Those special moments!

Yes theoretically. You can't just give her a kithchen applicance every year, expect her to put on her apron and get in the kitchen and start cooking you a meal on her birthday. You have to be considerate in the things she likes, and pay attention to details when she says she likes something or dislikes it. You could spend $100 and get her something that doesn't fit her personality. If put some thought into it in the end that is all that counts. No matter how expensive or cheap the present was.

That's where guys get lost.....

back to the topic... me no qualified to comment anyways.

Yes. But it seems like most men don't try due to this reason. :(

Re: Those special moments!

My husband more than made up for my last birthday this year.

What do you mean made up? Did he mess up a birthday the year before? How did he make it up? I would love to hear a positive incident!

Re: Those special moments!

My husband makes up after a fight by making breakfast in bed for me the next day. it's something small but makes me feel wonderful and happy :) This is when he admits he is wrong.. not when I am wrong :)
