hi, i’m new to this forum. I need some help. It’s like this:
I’m getting married soon inshallah. But before the marriage the Nikah will take place. ( this will he be 7 to 8 months before the marriage)
It will be inshallah a really big nikah reception, my whole family will be coming (uk, europe states autralia etc) and i’m not sure what to wear. So what do you girls advice? A gharara? sharara? of just simple shalwar kameez?
i’m really fair complexed so what colour would be the best choice for the nikah?
if the whole gang is coming, then its a more dressy affair and definitely calls for a dressier outfit. i'd suggest a gharara. if you're saving red for your rukhsati, you can do a paler color and something really elegant. ghararas are such fun to wear! you could pull off any color complexion-wise... pale turqoise, pale pink, lilac, ivory? or you could do a richer shades of the same. IMHO, don't do a pale pink and pale blue together... that combo can end up looking juvenile at times.
personaly i love 2 wear Gharara, but now a days Peshwaz and Anarkali suits r very “IN” Peshwaz and Churidar pajama looks very feminine and nice, here r sum Peshwaz
If you will wear a lengha on your rukhsati and walima, Id say go for something different for the Nikkah. A sari would be nice. A nice formal shalwar kameez. Or a gharara
Ghararas can look so lovely, I wish I could wear them, I feel I look paindoo in them!
doesn’t make them any less pretty though
but i have no idea what is “in” in pakistan right now. anyone else? personally i think karma is really “in” on this forum and perhaps not so common in reality due to their price tag?
amongst the brand names, karma is really in, in lahore's liberty market. everywhere you go, you see suits that are karma copies. maria b is pretty big as well as well as libas-e-khas is really big, its a bridal store, where u can get lehngas ranging from 50k to 300k.
in terms of kaam, it is absolutely ridiculously overkill on the sparkle. borders are literally 14-20 inches wide, completely smothered with stones. quite literally, dazzling. stones, stones, more stones.
hi! i really think that on things like this the girl should not look like a mini dulhan already! id keep it to something simple, maybe a pishwas would be something really nice and different!
