one which has a public mandate.
Re: This regime must not be allowed to last a day longer
Musharraf must leave the office at this very moment. Let create a national govt which should be neutral and hold election. Then the first priority of the elected govt should be to clean up the jihadi mess created by military and mullahs.
Re: This regime must not be allowed to last a day longer
Are you saying if the regime is around for another 24 hours, then Pakistan will not be around this time tomorrow. Let’s revisit the thread in 24 hours and see if Pakistan is still around. ![]()

You take rhetorical statements too literally, and have completely missed the meaning of his post

Musharraf just does not want to leave. There is absolute consenssus in various degrees of contempt I believe, that regime change is a must. Musharraf must step down or pressured by the civil society to be removed. An interim government must be set up: the election commission should be chosen with strict screening for neutrality and fairness, the pre Nov. 3rd Judiciary restored. No judges in the history of Pakistan showed more courage and integrity than these Justices, they are the nations heroes, elections should commence without coercion and then Pakistan should withdraw from the neoconservative global health hazard of war on terror and the train wreck known as the coalition of the willing. After that, ...

You might have a problem with him, but not all of Pakistan. Maybe not most but very much indeed don't want him to go anywhere. So whats the purpose of crying?
On Judges i can assure you they are part of history now. Are they nation heroes? lets see time will show.

e33or, all polls show that Musharraf is disliked if not outright hated in Pakistan.

As once I have stated something about Imran Khans popularity sinking, ditto is for Mush. There is hardly any support left, besides the big guns sitting next to him and bribing the poor of Pak to keep his support alive.
Re: This regime must not be allowed to last a day longer
Power corrupts most, and I guess Musharraf zaleel ho ga buri tarha... Everyone will be out for his blood, hes already passed the point where he could just resign and move abroad and spend the rest of his little remaining life in peace.

First understand the people, cultural, ethnic, security & way of gov works situation. When you do understand it, you will never take these polls seriously.

Results are already written, meetings are done with Nawaz & PP about seats. Thats the way stuff works in Pakistan and probably everywhere in the world. Heard about hidden hands ?
Re: This regime must not be allowed to last a day longer
Another useless discussion. Same pro/anti comments.
Its tough time on nation, country is in claws of a strong dictator, who himself travels in a protocol of a 70 vehicle motorcade, but has left the people to get bombed, everywhere in the country. He is the guy who talks about integrity, dignity and professionalism. If he had any of these, he would have resigned, like it happens in civilized nations. But he is kameena himself, likes his lavish palace and power, why would he resign. For him Pakistan is progressing, yeah.....it has topped as most dangerous country. Thats progress. Where the hell is ISI, IB and MI? Why those parasites are paid their salaries, where they cannot arrest a single group or ring who is doing all these bombings?
He saw these bombing coming (this frequently and on this magnitude) in 2006. Has he done anything about it? NO. Did SC or corrupt politicians stopped him going against jihadiz? NO. However, the most dubious character of the history of Pakistan, Fazl ur Rehman is in bed with Army and Govt. as usual. Indirectly supporting everything that Mush says and do.
In this suffocating environment, what is happening to an ordinary Pakistani, just imagine. And people here come and dare to defend a failed and incompetent ruler and call others who question unpatriotic and stubborn. Just think about it citizens, just think. No flour, no electricity, no gas and no water + bombings.

It would work If you say MMA and PMLQ have meetings regarding seats. But It is very hard to believe that NS & PPP can rigg votes where the Government follows other interests. It doesnt make sense, since NS lost ISI support the very day he joined forces with PPP. Now tell, who is the real winner.
