Wait…so he himself still has not told you what he does for a living? You should’ve told him that unless he’s looking to marry your dad…he better be willing to let you “interview” him. 
Does his job actually require him to work those crazy hours OR is he a workaholic by choice? Also, you may want to find out how many weeks of vacation he gets.
Has he actually travelled to various places? Is he even willing to travel during football season?
LOL…I know it sounds petty…but based on the impression I’m getting so far…if he continues to keep up with his work hours after marriage, and is a very hardcore football fan…you won’t be seeing much of him (let’s not even get into trying to schedule vacations with his work schedule/NFL devotion!).
