I think that is a little bit rude but then it depends on how you said it…over text/IM, it can sound rude but in person, with the tone and all, perhaps not.

I dont know how it can be considered rude whether it was text or in person. It’s not like she said it in response to him pouring his heart out about a bad childhood or work woes or an illness. He was talking about not being able to go to the movies for christ’s sake.
