I am not gettiong one thing, how come your mother doesnt know where is your MIL? in one of your post (#52) you said, she wont ever come to know as you dont have ppl in common. does your mother know you have a fiance from 2.5yrs?

Can we have an opinion on your actions - of course we can.

Here's the thing, pleading ignorance and immaturity does not absolve you of your wrongdoing. You started out by judging and questioning the motivation of your MIL for why she's giving you gifts and being nice to you. Big mistake because it shows that you're suspicious and suspect your MIL just because she's your MIL. Then you've lied to your mother and father through ommission and created an awkward situation for yourself. And instead of confiding in your family, you're looking for a way out of the situation that leaves you free and clear with no blame. An act of maturity (since you're to be married soon) is to take responsibility for your actions, admit your mistakes and get the help of your family.
