Thanks for sharing, but Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was unable to read and write himself. If the above image is authentic then it could be what our prophet told his companion to write.

the authencity of this letter needs some attention..
coz if it was really written to an Emperor then they used to write it on special material not papers
and on the other hand I ahve seen a few other letters,, there arabic was quite clear and stylish, not like grumbled of this one.

Some things to note.
RasulAllah Muhammad(peace be upon him) could not read and write.
Many arabic words in the "letter" appear to be some jumbled up letters of the alphabet.
Truly, the original arabic writing of those days, was written with sophistication and beauty. This one doesn't display to be a letter from those days
BTW the 'pages' do not appear as if they were scattered.
Muhammad (peace be upon him) could not read or write so how would he have "signatures'!!?
Where does it say in The Quran or Sunnah that his (peace be upon him)'s prophethood was symbolized through some 'ring' as a ""SIGN"" from Allah!?
The Quran was written first on tree barks, leaves etc. and compiled together. When paper was invented, the Quran-al-kareem was written in the form of a book. Two copies of the earliest Quran still exist today. {if you wanna know where..i can provide that info}
because of all these reasons, i doubt it..

Yes i agree with you, as i have also heared that Holy Prophet SWA, ask the sahaba to write the letter.
and also i dont think that its a actuall script but the copy of words.

Prophet pbuh who said "get education even if you have to go to china" was illetrate himself? the reason many muslims say he was illetrate because on His death bed he wanted a pen and paper so he could write his Will. but umar rejected it and said Prophet pbuh is not in His senses..Astaghfirullah

The Bait Al Qur'an in Bahrain has one of these letters too I think.
FF is right.. when Angel Gabriel came to Muhammed SAW and asked him to "Read", Muhammed SAW said "I cannot read". That's when Gabriel AS said "Recite in the name of Thy Lord" ("recite", as opposed to "read").
