ISLAMABAD, Aug 13: A Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal woman member of the National Assembly complained in the house on Monday that the government’s Lok Virsa cultural organisation had committed a breach of privilege of burqa-clad MNAs of the religious alliance by not displaying their pictures at its museum in Islamabad.
Speaker Chaudhry Amir Hussain reserved his ruling after the minister of state for information technology and communications assured the house that the burqa-clad women would find their pictures in the museum like other MNAs if they could be recognised from those photographs.
The MMA has 11 women in the 342-seat National Assembly and all but one from a non-Muslim minority community wear burqa veils when they attend the house.
I have a practical suggestion that will resolve the problem and make all parties happy. For all hijab/burka clad women, they should take an an x-ray and display that. That way no face and flesh is exposed, the hijab/burka is not in the way and it is fully personalized.

Unfortunately fat sisters who have been using the excuse "i have a wide bone structure" will be exposed and no longer be able to use that excuse. For their sake, please do not go the x-ray way.
