Of course, the Imam was telling us the importance of Ramadan and the entire lecture was on all the basics of Islam. One of the things he mentioned was brotherhood (and sisterhood). He mentioned that life is too short and we shouldn’t hold back grudges. Although I’ve opened similar threads over the past years, but each year we have new people here, we make new friends, and we hurt more (or new) people. The Imam also mentioned that when two people fight, the “winner” of the fight is the one who forgives the other person and says Salam to his brother (or sister).

SindSagar Every mod performs their duties differently. I will speak for myself only. When I lock the thread, most of the times it is common sense and I still give my reason in the last post before locking the thread. If a reason is not provided in the thread itself, it is usually PMed to the thread** starter**. I am not perfect. If your thread was locked by me and a reason was not provided, please give me a link to the thread and I’ll let you know the reason right now.
Having said that, sometimes a reason may not be given in the thread to save the thread starter from embarrassment, because it is nobody else’s business. However, I’ll keep your suggestion in mind
