SindSagar Every mod performs their duties differently. I will speak for myself only. When I lock the thread, most of the times it is common sense and I still give my reason in the last post before locking the thread. If a reason is not provided in the thread itself, it is usually PMed to the thread** starter**. I am not perfect. If your thread was locked by me and a reason was not provided, please give me a link to the thread and I’ll let you know the reason right now.
Having said that, sometimes a reason may not be given in the thread to save the thread starter from embarrassment, because it is nobody else’s business. However, I’ll keep your suggestion in mind
It was not a thread started by me, but somehow mine was the last post, therefore it seemed to me that I had ruined it with a smart remark!

SindSagar I didn’t lock that thread. You should PM the forum mod in such cases and they can explain why the thread was locked, if they feel it’s okay to tell someone other than the thread-starter.

Of course, the Imam was telling us the importance of Ramadan and the entire lecture was on all the basics of Islam. One of the things he mentioned was brotherhood (and sisterhood). He mentioned that life is too short and we shouldn’t hold back grudges. I may have intentionally or unintentionally hurt guppies’ feelings. There may be some who have done some wrong to me. If you ever did anything wrong to hurt me, I declare that I have no grudges nor hard feelings for anyone. I forgive everyone. At the same time, I would like to ask for pardon if I have hurt anyone’s feelings. If possible, please forgive me for hurting you and don’t have negative feelings for me in your heart. Thanks .
