Yeah … especially with furniture … but because of that the extension in the back becomes the real living room and the show piece living room gathers dust … LOL

concept of time

the "im better than you" ideology in terms of race, financial situation, job, family, etc...basically comparing everything under the sun

the hyprocrisy (ie. one person rejecting an idea/situation, but one day it happens in their own family, but doesn't do/say anything about it)

desi aunties who cant understand independant young women who want o make a successful career out there instead of sitting at home and rotting, and then come up to you at every wedding and ask: why havent you gotten married yet? as if its your business :S

then ofcourse theres those aunties who treat designers and tailors all alike thinking their all cheap labor :S I have actually heard aunties tell me: I can go to gulf and make this, why should i pay you so much money. Then go! :P

desi’s dont know the concept of parking at the mosque …blocking people driveways, having their cars towed, and parking on handicap parking spots. :smack:

  • Time management problems.

  • Going into others business.

  • I am not sure, but I have seen some desi aunties with my eyes that they yet lack the maturity process. ( matlab thore aunties mature batain nahie kerti, choti choti si baton pe laraye kerna)

  • If they go out and meet their friends daughter or someone, they will arrive home and be like "Haye Allah, uski daughter son maine dekha aj"

  • Desi aunties fighting over prices. ( When they go to bazar and price of an apparel is 20$, they would claim to lower the price)

  • Taane maring.

  • Telling their bachay to not to fall in love, without their permission. ( Yes I understand its for their childrens betterment)

  • Larko ke saath batain nahie kerni.

  • And sometimes they put so much restrictions on their children that one becomes so much closer to not following their orders.

MOST IMPORTANTLY:

One thing that I hate very much about our desis aunties especially is: When they bring a new **
**bride in their home, some mothers in law feel that those bahooo's are snatching their son away from them.

The way our mothers put tons of surma/kajal in our eyes and take 100 pictures

the horrible english accents, while everyone else has such a hot accent (british, polish, irisih, australian etc.) here we are stuck with VATTT

im talkin about like..ummm... like they'll say thing 1 is good but at the same time they HAVE to say thing 2 is bad.
