**when a desi couple with 5 of their children with exact change line up to get 4 slabs of butter each which is on sale for $1.99 each [regular price $3.99]. They do so because there is a LIMIT of 4. then they find out that this limit is PER FAMILY and NOT per PERSON...and, then they all run to put it back on the shelf.

now, after the couple drops the kids off at home, they go to 7 different stores to get what they initially wanted...i.e. 28 bars of butter @ $1.99 each :)

that is NOT ALL! now, the couple will talk about this in gatherings and will tell others that the LIMIT is PER FAMILY and NOT per PERSON. They will also tell them how they beat the system. :D**

That many (but not all) mothers do not raise their sons with boundaries as defined as those for their daughters. That in the same household, the boys can be into clubbing and dating, where as the girls never step out without hijab. And so on. Hate is not a strong enough word for this.
