Some of the ideas shared in the other thread prompted me to start a separate thread for wives and female significant others.

What are some things that are done or could be done to make their day. I’m talking about surprises mainly.

not alot of ppl are answering for this, and so many for the other one. tsk tsk. us women

Sometimes I get her chocolate, cookies or something else to eat or drink. I've also given her cards before. Sometimes we go for a drive or sometimes I make her tea. Occasionally I'll cook something, but there's no surprise in that.

That's about all I can think of for now.

i would love to reply, but then i will be called names, so i m gonna leave it at that,

BTW, my fiancé who visits this forum once in a while is very upset with me over my behavior. and i would like to apologize to all females on this forum.

But few things that work are.

surprise her at work, (make sure its at the end of the workday)
take her out to dinner, then a nice place to sit for few drinks,
then to the hotel room you booked for her (surprise)
a nice massage, cuddling, Ice cream, some nice movies (romantic)
and the rest stays in the bedroom.

but thats like weekend thingies, you sleep in late and when its around 2Pm you get in the car and go to a mall out of the city or something like that.

Also on the day to day basis,

try to help out, (funguy was good at it :hehe: )
do small things like the dishes, cleaning etc.
take out the trash,
try to clean up after yourself.
and never disrespect her,
of course everyone has arguments but make sure its a valid one.

^Yeah that too.. going grocery shopping, shopping for furniture, setting up ur first home together :blush:

A massage after a hard day of classes/work :blush:

Or we cook dinner together n then eat it (or throw it away :bummer: and go out for chinese lolz)

A walk in NYC is always nice :slight_smile:

Flowers are also good, but as a surprise.. never as a norm, because then they’d get boring and cumbersome and she’d think “why no roses today??” But a rose unexpectedly, are just divine :wub:
I guess i’m easy to please? :hinna:

Sara its not what you do, its how you do it. you are right it shuldnt be norm.

^ Well.. most of the stuff u listed (im sure its all gud :k: ) is for married couples (or those living together).. I think they are more “normal” things, whereas some of the stuff I listed is not so regular, but still nice :blush:

Ive never been in a relationship, but those are some of the things I’d like, among others :frowning:

I would like my guy to call me when I am not with him..umm..take me out to dinner when I am too tired to cook..and..flirt!!!!!:)

getting a call from him during exams times

The fact that he thought about you when he had so much things running in his mind but he took out some time of his hectic schedule just for me.

Anything unusual.

Because everything usual, from back rubs to teddy bears get boring after a while; women are weird like that.
