May be we are too practical for our own good.....but 'things' don't make any difference for us....its just the thought which counts....
I recieve an hour long phone call at the end of the day (coz he's away mostly) n I would say even though its a routine .....I await this phonecall more than anything....
I still remember him getting up in late hours of night to get the bottle ready for our first one while tip toeing so my sleep doesn't get disturbed .....was something i can't forget even after 7 years.:)
There are many many little things which spice up the life n make you cherish each other

I'm not fond of shopping or teddies or chocolates (not that its a bad thing) but I still know there is someone who cares for me more than anything ....and as long as I have this faith, I don't need anything else inshaAllah!

I would love for hubby to arrange a sitter and take me out for a night on the town. As a surprise please. I don't want to be hassled with making the arrangements or planning the evening.

Maybe a long drive to a romantic place. Maybe just a dinner in a favourite restaurant and then a walk by the lake. Nothing expensive....nothing extravagant. Just time for us

Its funny how both threads are so different the one the guys and this one.

In the other thread there is some sort of sexual comment and here everything is sweet and simple.

A walk in NYC is always nice

Flowers are also good, but as a surprise.. never as a norm, because then they’d get boring and cumbersome and she’d think “why no roses today??” But a rose unexpectedly, are just divine

Id prefer picking out my own lingerie and suprising him with it....besides if and when im married Id hope that i would know exactly what my husband would like to see on me.
