  • breastfeeding in the beginning can be challenging. dont give up. dont also feel like you
    absolutely have to do it. its a personal choice and dont let anyone tell you otherwise.

  • babies cry. sometimes all the time.

  • your belly doesnt automatically deflate after childbirth

  • hormones after childbirth can be all over the place

  • lack of sleep and a complete change in personality as a result of it is a real thing - it affects relationships, your food habits, how you are as a person in general.

  • colic is a real thing. God help you if you have to deal with it. i did. not fun.

Hot baths can cause pre term labor.

They can cause preterm labour, miscarriage, birth defects because the temperature of your body goes up or it may lower your blood pressure. If one has high fever at any stage of pregnancy, just run to the emergency.

Wow reading back this thread is still scary and I m on my second pregnancy. All I can say is that every birth and every baby is different.

Research your options and keep an open mind during labour. Have your birth partner clued up on your preferences and make sure they shout for you. Also get as much help as possible. I was alone after my first birth and I really struggled.

pregnant with my sec baby alhamdulillah.One thing, severe mood swings.Anything or anyone specially your husband will piss you off.Hopefully he would understand your hormones are messed up.

No one told me how second pregnancies are MUCH more difficult thn first.

Have a toddler who bring all types of bugs and virus from school and i am the one getting sick
Horrible pelvic pain that i didn’t experience the first time

Has anyone experienced morning sickness past 13 weeks? I’m almost done with week 13 and I still have it every night at 6 pm - 8 pm.

^ from what i have heard, some experience all they way until delivery time :{

i had very little morning sickness during my first trimester, but now in my 3rd trimester…i have horrible all day sickness, heart burn and other stomach issues.
