and seriously though..people need to open up their minds, then their hearts..and hopefully one day, their wallets, so they could put their money where their mouth is.
Because I'm seriously tired of people that go to masjids only a couple of times a year and complain about EVERYTHING. If only we treated our masajids like they really are - Allah's homes and people are commited to it and want to spend time there and know whats going on. Then they wont complain as much, but be eager to help out.
decorating masjid is a sign of qiyamah ...sahaba were not happy even when rulers tried to decorate masjid-e-nabawi
ibn abbas reported from Nabi saw " I have not been commanded to decorate mosques" a hadith from sunan abi dawood
in ibn majah umar b khattab reports from Nabi saw the same , and decorating mosque will be a sign of people's debauchery
