I was always concerned, but most people here and elsewhere just put the blame of these horrendous acts on other things. Which is ridiculous at best.
What’s more… they now have a US Marine of Pakistani origin… see the photo here on Yahoo! who is also threatened to be beheaded.
Hmmm... minor point, but the articles all describe him to be of Pakistani origin, rather than actually Pakistani.
I don't think his origin matters. These killings are simply disgusting and unislamic and the criminals don't seem to care who they kill!
As Pakistan99 has clearly stated, MANY of us here DO care, have always cared and are indeed concerned. Unfortunately, many of you can't see that partly because many people don't visit World Affairs forum or post our views (which is our fault) and those who dare to speak out in this hostile forum are at best ignored.
Curse these terrorists, may they burn in eternal hell. I consider myself a fairly religious person but I am sickened by their misinterpretation. Not only will people leave Islam in droves, it will move the world closer to destruction. i saw the abductee on tv and its fairly obvious that hes one of these blue collar driver/mason types who probably has 20 mouths to feed back home in Pakistan and went there purely for the economic welfare of his family. this is very sad.

Any idea, why Pakistani news outlets are repeating that he is of Pakistani origin, whereas the rest of the world media is saying that he is from Lebanon?
He is indeed Lebanese and not Pakistani. Reuters origin report noted him being of "Pakistani origin". That's why Pak media is probably confused... and may be also because of his name, Wassef Ali, which sounds quite like a typical south Asian Muslim name.
And they shot Maupin in the head and in their customary way video taped it. *******s.
