A male acquaintance once asked me what I thought about him. I told him very politely that my parents would prefer someone with at least an undergrad. He got super offended and said:

I know girls like you. They keep rejecting nice guys, always looking for better than the best. Then one day when you’re an old budhiya and still single, you’ll remember me and wish you hadn’t turned me down.

The irony is that more often than not, it is these guys that end up old and single (or married to someone they would not have chose as a “last resort”). lol
