in the romantic sense in a marriage
a single girl asking a guy if they can have a coffee together
even in the intimate setting…
how do the men here feel about that? would that be seen in a negative or positive way considering that most desis are conservative?
PS: not asking advice here just trying to understand all men’s POVs

Re: The woman making the first move
romantic scene, marriage.. single.. wth.. are you talking about ?
Quite a low possibility, because 99.999% of desi women lack balls.

Re: The woman making the first move
what a generalization again, not all men or women are the same nor do they think the same way
i’ve seen desi women asking men out on dates if they get the sense that the guy is interested too.
all i’m asking is would the men here see her as too extreme or would he actually see her as gutsy?

Re: The woman making the first move
its similar to when men ask women - if you are hot, it’s romantic. if you arent, you are creepy. good luck.

Re: The woman making the first move
Have confidence! I don’t think its a big deal if the woman intiates the step, in fact I would do it too if I were in a situation with no hesitation whatsoever, but I would have to gauge what kind of a guy he was first, most guys present themselves as if they wouldn’t mind.
Disclaimer: I’ve not done this, just very confident it would work if I did want to.

Re: The woman making the first move
Depends how a woman makes the first move and what settings.
Without going in to details,
Marriage: Anything is kosher.
Not married: Sensible non sexual/ non-intimate casual invitation like coffee place invitation is not too bad.

right but then some might see her in a negative way if she actually executes the first move scenario…

Re: The woman making the first move
not a personal question
oh so it’s great only if the girl is hot with big tatas and a butt like shakira?
Re: The woman making the first move

All the more power to the woman. It would make life easier on us guys. We won’t strike out so much.

Re: The woman making the first move
you’re saying this because you were raised abroad(right?) but the more conservative men would probably see it as the man’s job to make the first move…totally guessing here. even if they try to show themselves as open minded no?

Re: The woman making the first move
I do (edit: did ) because when I want something I don’t mess around. I hate games. I doubt I’d be attracted to a guy who didn’t like a woman with confidence.

happies now?
actually, no. i prefer ‘do’ because i’m talking in the general sense of just going for what i want. not just nabbing the husband.

Why? All it would mean is that I still date. How do you think affairs happen?
