He has done it again, in his 2nd grand slam tournament at the US Open. I hope he plays spectacularly and advances beyond the first few rounds. If he makes it to the QF I will be able to watch him live in NYC !
In his first round he will face off against a veteran Carlos Moya.

Carlos Moya, who turned 32 yesterday, out on Court No. 7, against a 28-year-old Pakistani named Aisam--Ul-Haq Qureshi, The 210th-ranked Qureshi, who hit an astounding 33 aces over four sets, still couldn't crash Moya's party and, with his buddies hooting, "Vamos, Carlito," the Spaniard prevailed, 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 7-6 (7-2), 6-2.
"I don't mind playing anywhere," said Moya, who was the world's No. 1-ranked player in March 1999 and began this year No. 17 before falling to his current No. 42. "I know if I get far enough, I'll get to play in Ashe Stadium."
We should be proud of Aisam. :)

Ivanovic is knocked out by a low ranked player in 3 sets. Nadal cruised through his match in straight sets.

I cant believe Ivanovic lost! Williams sisters need to step up and take the #1 ranking. These little girlies cant seem to handle it. lol.
I hope we get to see a Nadal vs. Federer final!

As Ivanovic is out...I think...Dementieva will cover a lot ground and may move to the final...as she is already in the semi... :)

Federer looked amazing in his match against Djokovic. So no matter who he faces I believe he will have his 13th grandslam title here at the US open.

The 2nd rain hit semi final was completed today and against all odds Britain’s Andy Murray has defeated MENS’ world no’ 1 Rafael Rafa’ Nadal in 4 sets!!
