They treat their positions as permanent vacations with entitlements. people who work for in the USFO are people who get geeked by th ework, ability to work with intelligent people, travel, a life long career and maybe...maybe some maney by the time they are 60 by sitting on the board of a company in the region of their service.

OG, you're right, it doesn't make sense to work for an employer if you don't believe in their policies and ethics. Kind of goes against ones personal values and is unfair to the employer.
However let us not contemplate, I think CM is still undecided about whether he should be doing this or not.
