Re: The Ultimate Losers in Pakistan!
Zakk:
^ a similar statement could be said about NWFP, Baluchistan and Sind..consider in NWFP the hindko speakers have had disproportionate influence..in Baluchistan the migrants increasingly have influenced electoral results..Sindh..well thats quite self evident..I am not aware of the Legharis having electoral influence in Sind..I am aware of Baloch/Influence in the North and West of Sind tho..
There is a distinctive argument between the domination of Punjab and the domination of Punjabis..and I have been very careful with how I have worded that…Pakistans ruling establishment is Punjab dominated..the bulk of it’s recuitment is from the Punjab ..and they are equally capable of attacking Punjabis who oppose them (Nawaz Sharif is an excellent example) ..however that doesn’t change the fact that presently they also benefit ..which is in contrast to other ethnic groups.
Could it be that Punjab might have better qualified workforce? And that qualified workers from other provinces have also gotten very high positions atleast proportional to the pool of skilled manpower in these provinces?
