Re: The Ultimate Losers in Pakistan!
In the last 17 years we have had ethnic Balochi, Pashtun and now Mohajir executive Presidents, and Balochi, Kashmiri, Mohajir and Sindhi Prime ministers. During that period we have also had more than one Mohajir Chief of the Army Staff, and today we have a prepondarance of Mohajir Corp Commanders, plus quite a few ethnic Pashtun Naval Chiefs since '88. We have had Sindhi and Mohajir Chief Justices of the Supreme Court as well, and our Diplonmatic corps of Pakistan is still dominated by Mohajirs. To me hardly represents the dominance of Punjab/Punjabi's but the great success of other groups as well in Pakistan, which we must emphasise as well, which we do too often.
As for the Pakistani economy that is dominated less by Punjab, and more by the Urdu-speaking metropolis of Karachi. Here is a sample of some of the mega-rich companies in Pakistan.
The Jang Group
The House of Habib
The Monnoo Group
The Dewan Group
The Lakson Group
The Dawood Group
The Haroon Family
The Yunus Brothers
Al-Karam Group
The Bawany Group
The Tata Family
The Tabani Family
The Tapal Group
The Dadabhoy Group
Adamjee Group
Kassim Dada
Do those sound Punjabi to anyone?
