You loooove to bring up the past, don't you? As if achievements from 1000 years ago give you some Glory points. We are talking about TODAY where there is NO medicinal arts, philosophy, poetry, astronomy and empirical sciences coming from the Muslim world. That does not address the fact that Islam, as currently practiced, does not produce innovation of any kind, least of all intellectual innovation. It is just another excuse for failures here on earth. Thank goodness Muslims didn't always believe that or we wouldn't have anything to steal from their Glory Days.

This 'life begins in the hereafter' is one of the biggest cop outs and insults to God I can imagine. As if he is going to put us here to do nothing but be lazy with no other requirements except to worship him. That is an extremely lazy and selfish attitude. God's and yours. It explains a lot about the predictament of Muslims today.
