The ‘Talibanization’ of Pakistan's biggest city...

It may be fashion to keep a TT or KK in house, but keeping grenades or suicide jackets is NOT. Just because MQM is the major stakeholder (or holding the city by its neck) doesn't mean we can ignore other possible terrorists who could be running away from the thrashing they get in Waziristan/Swat areas.

And SSP is an angel organization? Dude, SSP type orgs will play a major part if TTP decides to go urban.

SSP is Sipah-e-Sahaba yo Kaptaan!
SSP and shias both kill each other as well as innocent people. In early 90s one of my neighbours was killed because he was a hafiz of Quran, had beard, a student of NED, was going to pray namaz when a bullet hit him outside the masjid. Those days there were clashes between shias and SSP.

Thank you for brief introductory on SSP.... but I do know them well too, yes they are mainly anti-Shia organization but they are supporters of Taliban, they are like sleeper cell for them (actually may be more active than we think).

I think SSP is the Southern Panjab Version of Taliban (mainly Sarayeki belt?) but I'm not sure.

They might have ammunition but not explosives. Plus those people were from Sawat. And Sindh police has caught terrorists bringing explosives in Sindh from NWFP before.

Pakistan's biggest security threat is Taliban kharijis. No one else.
Anyone who supports the terror from these anti-Islam munafiqeen is an enemy of Islam and Pakistan.

Their purpose is killing, now use a bullet or a bomb, it doesn't make any difference. And bomb making is not that hard, ever tried it? (just open your mouth, fill it with petrol, drink it and then eat a burning splinter)

Taliban, Jafria Alliance/Sipah-e-Mohammad, SSP, MQM, PPP, ANP all are terrorists, they all kill innocent people, don't they?

Re: The ‘Talibanization’ of Pakistan's biggest city...

There could be many terrorists and problems in Pakistan.
But like I said, Pakistan's biggest security threat is Taliban kharijis. No one else.

If you disagree then you are living in fool's paradise (Taliban rule).

I'm not an extremist like you who chooses one of the two extremes, either right or left.

Pot calling the kettle black.

Recognizing that Talibanic mentality is the biggest threat to Pakistan's security and peace is not "extremism". Rather it is recognition of root cause of the problem. And unless root cause is not established, the problem can not be resolved. Trying to fix the problem of extremism and insecurity by all other means would be nothing but beating about the bush. But the problem will remain unless someone recognizes the root cause.
When there is a fire burning then you aim the extinguisher to the root of fire. You don't aim on the flames.

Similarly, there are many terrorist and criminals in Pakistan. But we have to see which one is causing the fire of violence and insecurity in the country. And unless someone just arrived from Mars, everyone knows that Pakistan is facing extreme violence and massacre of Muslims from the cult of Taliban kharijis.
Hence they are the biggest threat to Pakistan. Pakistan army recognizes this threat and is pursuing them in their sh**holes in mountains.

Now you can say that Aslam Qasai is also a terrorist and we would say that even if he is a terrorist he is definitely not the biggest threat.

Officials said the terrorists could be associated with the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LJ) and Harkatul Mujahideen (HM), and they might also have had links with the Taliban.

Saeedabad Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ghulam Hussain Korai said the explosion took place at around 7:20am.

Baldia Town SP Zahid Hussain said police had found three suicide jackets – including pieces of the one believed to have been worn by one of the men – three AK-47 assault rifles with 29 magazines, 26 Russian-made hand grenades, a pistol, three motorcycles, a computer and stored food.

Korai said police had found six bodies, and “we have also found various religious books and other literature from the debris … some letterheads found from the destroyed house read: ‘Haq Nawaz Jhangvi [LJ founder], we will remember your mission forever, and continue it until judgement day’”.

**The DSP said Hasan’s brother, Faraz, told police in a statement that Hasan was associated with Harkatul Mujahideen. **
