The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

The Sopranos are coming to an end and the final episodes starts airing Sunday April 8 2007. It’s been a great show since its season premiere in 1999; you just can not get enough of it. The characters are so complex and the actors have played it so accurately that it makes the final episodes even more appealing. Perhaps, one of the best TV shows of past 25 years and I think its cult following will be loyal for many more years to come.

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

Man don't tell lolllllll, please I have exams now. Wallah when its over me and the SOPRANOS wutttttttt wutttttttttt.

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

I thought the first two episodes were underwhelming. Meh.

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

I mean seriously. He tells Bobby Bacala that he might be top boss one day? That tub of lard?

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

well there is gonna be a power struggle between tony and christopher

and plus leotardo is on a war path with the deMeio family which Soprano is the boss

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

Christopher's got no power, unless the other producer picks up the reins and he's not gonna. Besides, his drug problem is well known and will never get him any respect. Remember Donnie Brasco? Junkies are worthless.
I just don't see any worthwhile characters on the horizon.

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

What a shocker! Tony kills Crissy. I think my jaw hit the ground when he suffocated him. From story point of view...is it surprising?

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

You've got wonder if Tony's guilt over Chris, which he's bound to have, will get him eventually.

Funniest part? Even in death Chris gets to piss Paulie off, who was too busy taking attendance and clocking times to mourn. Perfect.

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

only 3 more episodes to go....

things are coming to a head between phil and tony....

looks like an all out gang war between new york and new jersey

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

^ yeah gang war between NY and NJ gonna be interesting....hopefuly well get to see some more action there.

i still can't believe chris died ....this episode was a jaw dropper, every moment was intense. Can't wait to see the next one

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

Come to think of it, Tony ran out of patience with Christohper. In the end, it was his nose that led to his demise.

During the ride before the crash, Tony was listening and agreeing with him. I think the baby seat broke the "camel's back". Tony's life has been about family and stability, Christopher never came close to it. According to him, "it is a disease" but I think he just did not know what to do with his life. If he has survived, he would thank tony, go into AA again and than just by a hint, start abusing. The only thing he achieved in his life was the movie "Cleaver", which showed bad intention of Christopher. Moreover, in last episode "Walk like a Man" he was talking about Tony's down fall with his writer friend. Interesting developments.

I have heard last episode "Made in America" is 2.5 hours long.

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

^^ really, thats awesome, 2.5 hours

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

Looks like its kill or be killed for Tony Soprano.

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

^^ my guess, tony will survive, but he will give up the life of crime

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

Ah missed this thread. Best show ever. Cant wait until the last episode. I'll get in on the day after its aired in the US, so plz no spoilers.

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

I'd be worried about Paulie. The guy that almost defected before, who had to have sensed hostility on that boat, and I think the longest tenured guy in NJ, and he doesn't get a hit out on him? I smell something fishy. Either he's defected or has an under the table deal to run NJ after Tony's hit, either or. Phil's too smart not to hit Paulie. Carlo and Patsy too, to lesser extents. I wonder if Phil hitting Bobby was more meaningful because of Bobby being Tony's brother in law.

And Phil's gotta get it. I don't remember a bigger jerk than him on the show that didn't get it.

It probably doesn't mean much to many people, but even if Tony can hit Phil, he'd have to get Butchie too or he'd be a goner anyway, that is if he doesn't flip. Next week is going to be interesting. And I don't think Tony and Melfi are done, at least not on these terms. I just wonder what time Tony'd have in the next episode to be going to therapy, if it's as bloody and bleak as it looks.

I wonder what will turn out with the family. I predict Ton saves the day, tells Carm she can come back home and she refuses. That Paris thing might become permanent.

Re: The Sopranos: The Final Episodes

Phil Leotardo is an amazing character, and actor. I remember this guy from Goodfellas, just awesome onscreen presence.
